Abstract
The book under review is a collection of papers read at the workshop jointly sponsored by the Latin American Technical Department of the World Bank and Fundacion Para of Desarrollo sostenible (FUNDES) held in Washington, DC., in October 1992, along with some other selected papers. It is divided into three parts containing ten chapters. Part I, which provides the knowledge of basic problems faced in financing small businesses, presents the conceptual framework. It also highlights the issues relating to the accessibility of small enterprises to conventional. sources of financing.
